eXegeSys, a resource planning applications company, has filed a patent application for a software system that allows an end user to modify commercially developed computer programs without having to modify the program’s original source code.

Maxine Turner, President of Cuisine Unlimited, was recently honored by her industry peers as one of the top caterers in the United States. She and Cuisine Unlimited were named as one of four finalists for Event Solutions’® “Caterer of the Year.” The winner will be named on August 27th.

Marcus Johnson, the Salt Lake City investment representative for Edward Jones, was one of 40 representatives honored at a business management forum held recently in New York. Johnson was honored for his business management skills.

Major league baseball players have teamed up with Volunteers of America, Utah to promote the nurturing and well-being of America’s children. Baseball players will work with children and youth through Volunteers of America’s programs.

Here’s a Chamber History Fact: In 1956 the Chamber participated in a broad-based community campaign to raise money to expand the airport.

Make sure you set aside September 14th for the Chamber’s Century Celebration Gala. It celebrates 100 years of business in Salt Lake.
