R&O Construction, based in Ogden, has begun construction on a new Wal-mart Supercenter in Ammon, Idaho. The project is 205,800 square feet and will be completed in February.
AXA Financial and Sun Microsystems jointly received this year’s RealWare Award for the Best Enterprise Portal Application. The award was given by industry publisher CMP Media for AXA’s website www.AXAonline.com.
Coldwell Banker Residential has relocated its Draper office to 1111 East 12300 South. The 10,000 square foot facility is expected to eventually hold 100 sales associates.
The Intermountain Health Care Foundation has awarded 12 grants totaling $103,500 to nonprofit community agencies including The Children’s Service Society of Utah, Cornerstone Counseling Center, Ronald McDonald House, and Volunteers of America’s Homeless Youth Resource Center.
Here’s a Chamber History Fact: In 1999 the Salt Lake Chamber hired me, Larry Mankin, as the new president of the Salt Lake Chamber.
