2 Florida teens injured by shots fired from passing truck

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Police say two teens are recovering at a hospital after being shot while playing "curb ball" in a Jacksonville neighborhood.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office officials tell the Florida Times-Union (http://bit.ly/2b375xe ) that five to six shots were fired at the teens, ages 16 and 19, from a passing truck.

They were each struck in the torso and taken to UF Health Jacksonville hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.

Investigators are searching for the suspects, who drove away before police arrived.

No further details were immediately available.
