The Green Valley Spa and Tennis Resort in St. George is recognized as one of the very finest such facilities of its kind. I recently had Alan Coombs, the owner, give me a tour and overview of this magnificent spa. I was really impressed.
Green Valley has eight swimming pools, four Jacuzzi’s, two saunas, two aerobic studios, 19 outdoor/indoor tennis courts, the largest indoor golf learning center, two racquetball courts and a weight room.
And there probably isn’t a better way to complement a day of exercise than to stay at The Coyote Inn. Each oversized room has a wood burning fireplace and a six-foot whirlpool tub. The rooms feature a four-poster bed in European feather beds under goose down comforters and down pillows. Alan told me that guests frequently ask if they can’t buy the bedding and pillows to take home. They never have enjoyed such a nights sleep!
After a great day of hiking in red-rock canyons and desert landscapes, your body will be pampered with massages and alternative healing therapies. The treatment rooms are beautifully decorated with soothing music and the finest of treatment equipment.
Alan Coombs is a real hands-on manager and he has a large family who are all involved in the management and operation, Green Valley Spa and Tennis Resort has more than a hundred employees . There is constant improvement and expansion of the facilities and if you long to discover a place where the dreams of the heart and the images in the mind can come true, then Green Valley Spa is such a place.
