Bud Bailey Construction was awarded the contract to build the 45,000 square foot Best Buy at 53rd Pointe.

ClearOne Communications, formely known as Gentner Communications, raised $23.8 million dollars in the sale of 1.5 millon shares of newly issued common stock.

Several Utah Credit Unions have a program that allows members to skip a payment on a loan during December or January if they make a small donation. In 2000, Granite Credit Union used this program and raised over $30,000 that they donated to the Christmas Box House.

According to the Enterprise, U.S. Bank approved a development loan for Mountain Home Development’s new Traverse Mountain planned community.

Since September 11th, the service at Salt Lake International Airport has stabilized airline schedules with 702 daily arriving and departing flights. This is actually more flights operating at the airport than there was a year ago.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: The Chamber’s hospitality center, the Century Club, is located in the Gateway, just outside the Security Fence during the Games. It is the largest indoor hospitality venue during the Games.

The Office Depot Olympic Million Dollar Mixer is a kickoff party to celebrate Office Depot's sponsorship of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
