A Salt Lake business reports a personnel change. . Calvin Curtis has joined the law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy as a shareholder in its Salt Lake office.
MassMutual Financial Group, represented in Utah by the Intermountain Financial Group, announced an estimated policy owner dividend payout for 2002 that is the highest ever in the organizations history. The increase is 1.4 percent over last year and totals approximately $1.14 billion dollars.
Stein Eriksen was recently honored at Deer Valley Resort with a bronze statue of himself by Utah artist Dennis Smith. The statue’s permanent home is on the plaza just outside Deer Valley’s Snow Park Lodge.
Cricket Comfortable Wireless, a flat rate, all you can talk, cellular phone service provider, announced it has reached the one million customer mark. Cricket launched its services nationwide in March 1999 and in Utah in December 2000.
Here’s an Olympic business fact: Six hospitals have been designated as “Olympic Hospitals” during the Games: LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Cottonwood Hospital in Murray, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Heber Valley Medical Center in Heber, and the University of Utah Medical Center.
