Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel changes. Crystal Pendley recently joined EF Creative, a local Advertising Agency, as Director of Marketing. Robert Anderson will serve as President of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy’s Board of Governors. Altius Health Plans has named Larry Hancock as CEO and Michael Bahr as President and Chief Actuary. Chad Starbuck is the new Director of Marketing and Business Development at ANA Sports Management, the owners of the Utah Blitzz soccer team. Glyphics Communications has hired Hugh “Pat” Patty, Jr. as General Manager of Operations. Larry Christensen has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Development of the Mystery Shopping Division of Rocky Mountain Merchandising and Research.
Governor Leavitt has declared that all Wednesdays during October are “Rideshare Wednesdays.”
Here’s an Olympic business fact: One of the ways SLOC is trying to help the environment is by planting trees. SLOC’s goal is to plant 100,000 trees in Utah. It has already begun by planting 50 trees at the Olympic Village.
