Stoel Rives, one of the Northwest’s largest law firms, has merged with San Francisco-based Washburn, Briscoe & McCarthy. The merged firm will have 370 attorneys with more than 500 support staff.

The “Dresses For Humanity” exhibition of Princess Diana’s Dresses, will donate the proceeds from tonight’s opening fundraiser to the American Red Cross. Tickets may be purchased at Smiths. The exhibit is open through December 9th.

As of September 21st, SLOC’s “We Stand United” pin sales have past the $1 million mark.

The National Association of REALTORS® has created a fund to help pay the housing costs of families devastated by the terrorist attacks. To donate go to www.relief.realtor.org.

Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah has teamed up with other BlueCross BlueShield organizations nationwide to donate $1 million to the attack relief efforts.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: Although The Olympic Medals Plaza will be free to the public, a ticket will be required. Tickets will be available in late fall at designated Smith’s stores. Volunteers will receive two tickets to the Plaza for one evening. And of course the medal winners will be given tickets as well.
