(KSL News) A collision between a motorcycle and a car in Salt Lake killed one rider and sent the other to the hospital.
The two riders were traveling northbound on a motorcycle on Redwood Road near 700 South this afternoon.

They were in the inside lane when a car in the outside lane in front of them stopped to let a waiting vehicle turn left onto the road. The motorcycle then T-boned the car as it turned.
The bike's driver was killed, and his passenger was injured. Neither were wearing helmets.
Police are investigating the crash.
