(KSL News) -- A man was taken to the hospital this morning after his car was hit by a train in Lehi.
Kevin Turner, Lehi Police: "An adult male, driving the vehicle. Witnesses say it appears that he ran the stop sign and was struck by the train."
The man was apparently westbound, trying to turn right when the incident happened. The train hit the front driver's side of the car.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries, including a broken leg.
Officials say there were not any other passengers in the car.
