PROVO, Utah (AP) -- A Veracity Communications employee is recovering this morning after he was zapped by a power line.
It happened yesterday near 600 North and 800 West in Provo.
Authorities say the man was working with fiber optic cables when according to witnesses, his ladder slipped out from under him.
Witnesses then told officials the worker was zapped by a power line as he was dangling from a safety harness -- leaving him unconscious.
He was taken to Utah Valley Medical Center, where he's being treated for burns.
