Outfielder Terry Evans has been activated from the disabled list and assigned to the Salt Lake Bees by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Evans, 26, was placed on the disabled list May 21 with a right labrum tear. Evans had appeared in 26 games for the Bees this season before the injury, hitting .308 with nine doubles, two home runs and 14 RBI.
In four games with the Tempe Angels on rehab assignment, Evans went 5-for-12 with two doubles, one home run and two RBI.
Evans joined the Angels from the St. Louis Cardinals in a trade for Jeff Weaver in 2006. He made his major league debut as an Angel on June 17, 2007, registering a home run in his first at-bat.
The 72-50 Salt Lake Bees begin a four-game road trip tonight against the Sacramento River Cats.
