Former Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is endorsing Utah Congressional candidate Jason Chaffetz.
Romney is just the latest Republican luminary to back Chaffetz -- who unseated third district incumbent Chris Cannon in a primary runoff in June.
He joins Utah senators Bob Bennett and Orrin Hatch and Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. Cannon, meanwhile, has not said whether he will back Chaffetz.
A spokesman for Romney told the Daily Herald, Romney is backing Chaffetz because he will "promote policies that will strengthen our families, our economy and our military."
Chaffetz will face off against Democrat Bennion Spencer and Constitutionalist Jim Noorlander in November's general election.
