The battle for the hearts and minds of Utah voters on the issue of radioactive waste has already cost almost $1.4 million — and that's a number that could easily double or triple by November's election when voters decide whether to raise taxes on Utah's only commercial radioactive waste dump, Envirocare of Utah.
