(KSL News) The family of a man shot and killed by a restaurant security guard says they are upset no charges will be filed in the case.

The Salt Lake County prosecutor concluded George Harrison acted in self defense when he fatally shot Mike J. Mays last month.

Harrison said Mays was yelling at customers and then went to reach for something he believed to be a weapon.

Mays' son tells the Salt Lake Tribune he is disappointed with the prosecutor's decision, especially since Harrison reportedly gave no verbal warning he was about to fire.
