(KSL News) A Utah native made headlines with her dancing, but today she hopes it will be her voice that will benefit cancer patients.
Julianne Hough met several cancer patients as she toured the Huntsman Cancer Institute this afternoon.
The Emmy-nominated choreographer and two-time "Dancing with the Stars" champion said cancer research is her priority during this visit back to her home state.
I've been given the opportunity to do what I love, and given exposure, and I want to be able to give back and gain exposure for a great cause," Hough said.
She will sing tonight at the institute's annual "Hope on the Range" gala at the Grand American Hotel.
