Salt Lake City police arrest four teens they say fired BBs at a pregnant woman.

Police say the four suspects, all 18 years old, were driving near the cemetery at P Street and 4th Avenue when they started firing an Airsoft BB pistol at a group of people.

When the victims yelled at the suspects and told them they were shooting at an expectant mother, one of the suspects yelled back, "It's my kid!"

Detective Jeff Bedard, spokesman for the Salt Lake City Police Department, said, "It doesn't appear anyone was transported to a hospital, so, again, I think we're fortunate in that regard, but that doesn't trivialize what these people did. I mean, anytime you're using a weapon to fire at other people, whether it shoots bullets or whether it shoots BBs, that's a serious offense and that's something that we're not going to stand for in our community."

All four teens have been booked into jail for assault and conspiracy to commit assault.
