According to a report in the Albuquerque Tribune, Direct TV has no intention of adding "The Mountain" to its channel lineup. That means that Direct TV subscribers who want to watch BYU and Utah games televised on the network to find an alternative.
"At this point in time, we will not be adding the channel, and I don't think it will be happening for the foreseeable future," said Darris Gringeri, DirecTV vice president for public relations.
If the Mountain West Conference cannot reach an agreement with the nations largest satellite TV provider it will be a huge blow to the conference.
