(KSL News) Fierce winds knocked out power to about 23-thousand customers across the Salt Lake valley.
Gusts whipped and downed power lines, blew trees into lines and tore through substations.
Crews worked through the night, restoring power to most customers.
Rocky Mountain Power says they've since found about 100 trouble spots, but power in those areas should be restored any time now.
