Police looking for owners of stolen merchandise

(KSL News) Salt Lake police are looking for the rightful owners of thousands of dollars worth of fraudulently-obtained merchandise.

Investigators believe 46-year-old Brent Harding used fake purchase orders to obtain tools and restaurant equipment from various businesses.

"When they try to collect on it, he's already left the store. He's got this equipment, he gives it to his friends, they pawn it for cash," said Detective Jeff Bedard, spokesman for the Salt Lake Police Department.

Harding is currently booked in the Salt Lake County Jail on multiple felony charges and warrants.
