(KSL News) Lightning is believed to have caused a big fire near Moab.
The fire is burning in the Matheson Wetland Preserve, between Moab and the Colorado River.
About 40 acres of the wetland have burned, and crews have it about 40 percent contained.
Every available fire unit from Moab and the Bureau of Land Management, as well as two helicopters, are fighting the fire.
The fire came within 50 feet of three buildings, including a multi-million dollar home under construction, but crews knocked it back before it damaged any structures.
