TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Trevon Seymore had 15 points and tied a career high with eight assists, and Terry Harris Jr. added 14 points with eight rebounds to help Coppin State beat Florida A&M 70-66 Monday night.
Harris made 6 of 9 field-goal attempts.
Christian Kessee added 14 points while Keith Shivers scored 12 on 6-of-11 shooting for Coppin State (4-14, 2-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Blake Simpson grabbed a career-best 13 rebounds.
The Eagles have won two in a row after losing 12 straight.
Florida A&M (6-13, 2-4) missed all 11 of its first-half free-throw attempts and finished 8 of 21 from the foul line.
Malcolm Bernard led the Rattlers with 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Craig Bowman added 14 points, Jerran Foster scored 12, on a career-high four 3-pointers, and Isaiah Omoregie had 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
Coppin State outrebounded FAMU 48-38.
