ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Peter Hooley scored 18 points, Ray Sanders added 16 and Albany beat Binghamton 80-59 on Monday night for its 14th win in a row at home.
Albany led 41-30 at halftime behind Sanders' 11 points and Mike Rowley's 10. The Great Danes were 16-of-24 shooting (66.7 percent) in the half.
Binghamton went on an 11-3 run, including a 4-point play by Marlon Beck II, early in the second half to pull to 47-41. But Hooley's 3-point play capped Albany's 11-3 spurt to make it 58-43.
Rowley finished with 10 points for Albany (15-5, 4-1 America East), which has won 11 straight in the series. The Great Danes had their seven-game winning streak snapped last Friday in an 81-79 loss at Maine.
Albany entered the game ranked nationally in free throws made and finished 20 of 22 at the stripe.
Willie Rodriguez and Beck had 12 points apiece for Binghamton (3-14, 0-4).
