GENESEO, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the deaths of two college students and a former student at a house blocks from the SUNY Geneseo campus, about 35 miles south of Rochester.
The bodies were discovered after Geneseo police responded to the home around 6 a.m. Sunday following a 911 call.
The victims were identified as 21-year-old Kelsey Annese, of Webster, 24-year-old Matthew Hutchinson, of Vancouver, British Columbia, and 24-year-old Collin Kingston, of Geneseo.
Police said Annese and Hutchinson were students at Geneseo. They said Kingston was a former student.
Police said no firearm was used, but a knife was recovered. Police said they believe the perpetrator was one of the victims.
The school said that it was working with authorities.
A press conference is scheduled for Monday afternoon.
