Japanese teen Takanashi wins women's ski jump world cup

SAPPORO, Japan (AP) — Japanese teenager Sara Takanashi won her fourth women's ski jumping World Cup event of the season on Sunday.

The 19-year-old Takanashi had jumps of 97 and 94 meters to finish with 257.8 points, 16.4 ahead of Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria who was second after jumps of 99.5 and 92 meters.

Jacqueline Seifriedsberger, also of Austria, was third with jumps of 95 and 90 meters for 231.9 points.

Takanashi, who also won Saturday's event, leads the overall standings with 480 points, 161 ahead of Iraschko-Stolz after five rounds.

The next event is at the Zao ski resort in central Japan on Friday.
