... and some early roster names, numbers and notes.
Saturday's trivia question was quickly answered correctly by "Jollaksentie." During BYU's 10-game win streak, the Cougars have allowed exactly one first quarter touchdown, and it was scored by San Diego State in BYU's regular season finale last season.
Max Hall was named First Team All-MWC QB last season, as a sophomore. How many other BYU quarterbacks have been named First Team All-Conference as sophomores, and who were they?

With BYU's 105-man roster set for camp, breakdowns are as follows:
Camp Newcomers (freshmen/transfers): 25
Number of players by position (number in parentheses represents newcomers within the group)
QB: 5 (1)
RB: 8 (2)
TE: 5 (1)
WR: 12 (1)
OL: 17 (4)
DL: 13 (4)
LB: 19 (5)
DB: 21 (6)
P/PK: 3 (1)
DS: 2 (0)
In the breakdown above, sophomore Luke Ashworth is back at wide receiver, after having spent time in the coaches' depth chart at safety. Word out of Vegas is Bronco confirmed Ashworth is moving back to the other side of the ball, as I noted he would be given the chance to do.
Also, Jordan Pendleton is remaining as a defensive back (safety), and not moving to linebacker, as some had predicted.
Some position shifting could be expected in the early stages of camp, as many of the newcomers are capable of playing on either side of the ball.
