BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) — Aaron Wheeler scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half to lead Charleston Southern over Campbell 82-75 on Saturday.

After a quiet first half in which he attempted and made just one field goal, Wheeler made 6 of 10 shots and grabbed nine rebounds after the break for Charleston Southern (7-11, 3-4 Big South), sending Campbell (8-10, 2-6) to its fifth straight loss.

D.J. Mason made two free throws with 6:21 remaining to give Campbell a 70-66 lead, but the Camels went scoreless for more than five minutes. Chris Clemons' 3-pointer with 1:05 left ended Charleston Southern's 11-0 run and pulled the Camels within four, but Campbell missed four of its final five shots.

Clemons shot 6 of 12 from behind the arc and scored a game-high 26 points, the sixth time this season that the 5-foot-9 freshman guard has topped 20 points.
