OUAGADOUGOU, Burkina Faso (AP) — Burkina Faso's president says four extremists, including two women, have been killed in the battle to retake a hotel attacked by al-Qaida-linked militants. President Roch Marc Christian Kabore says the fourth militant was found in a nearby hotel during a sweep. Officials say 126 people were rescued and at least 23 were killed in the attack that began last night and ended this morning.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Indonesian police say a dozen people with links to Thursday's Jakarta bombings have been arrested in the wake of the attacks that killed seven people, including two civilians. National police chief Gen. Badrodin says police have determined money was transferred to Indonesia via Western Union. Separately, authorities say they have blocked more than a dozen websites expressing support for Thursday's attack.

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — A report from tribesmen in southern Yemen says three suspected al-Qaida militants have been killed in U.S. drone strike. The tribesmen say the militants were in a vehicle traveling in Shabwa province. It was not immediately possible to verify their account. U.S. officials rarely comment on drone activity. Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula is seen by Washington as the global network's most dangerous branch.

VIENNA (AP) — The Iran nuclear deal is the subject of high-level meetings today in Vienna ahead of a much anticipated report from the International Atomic Energy agency. Top diplomats of Iran and the European Union, along with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry discussed implementation of the agreement. If the U.N. report certifies that Iran is meeting its commitments, it would trigger sanctions relief worth an estimated $100 billion.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The only suspect arrested in a 2014 gunfight on Bourbon Street that left a bystander dead and nine other people wounded has been convicted by a jury in New Orleans.
