PALMDALE, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting and robbery at a medical marijuana dispensary in the Littlerock area southeast of Palmdale.
Three to five masked robbers armed with semiautomatic handguns entered the dispensary Thursday afternoon and shot a clerk, then made off with marijuana, cash, cellphones and a computer.
Sheriff's Lt. Brian Dunn tells City News Service the clerk was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
The robbers fled the scene on Pearblossom Highway in a white mid-size car with tinted windows.
