COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Chelsea Jennings had a career-high 29 points and No. 15 Texas A&M shot 62 percent to beat Ole Miss 81-58 on Thursday night.
Jennings scored nine in the third quarter, the last coming on a jumper that gave Texas A&M (13-4, 3-1 SEC) a 55-29 lead with 2:33 left. Ole Miss (9-8, 1-3) got no closer than 18 the rest of the way.
Jennings was 12 of 15 from the field and 5 of 6 from the foul line. Courtney Walker added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Aggies, who have won six of their last seven.
Madinah Muhammad had 21 points and Shandricka Sessom added 13 points — each with three 3-pointers — to lead the Rebels.
The Aggies led the entire way, opening with a 15-6 run, going up by 22 at the half and taking their largest lead at 48-20.
