ATLANTA (AP) — Pitcher Chris Withrow avoided arbitration by agreeing to a $610,000, one-year contract with the Atlanta Braves.

The deal reached Thursday leaves reliever Arodys Vizcaino as the only unsigned Atlanta player to file for arbitration. Barring a last-minute deal, he will exchange salary figures with the team on Friday.

Withrow didn't get to that point, settling on a raise from last season's $522,500 salary.

The 26-year-old right-hander missed all of 2015 while recovering from elbow and back surgeries. He made 46 relief appearances for the Dodgers the two previous seasons, going 3-0 with one save, a 3.65 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 56 innings.
