CLEARFIELD — A woman was killed Thursday morning after her car rolled on I-15 northbound around 9 a.m., officials said.
The woman was driving a black Jeep Cherokee near 650 North in Clearfield, when her car "went off the right side of the road and down an embankment," according to Utah Highway Patrol.
The Jeep rolled, and the woman was ejected from the car. The vehicle stopped between I-15 and the northbound on ramp.
The victim wasn't wearing a seat belt when she crashed, police said. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance and was pronounced dead when they arrived.
The woman was identified as Kaysville resident Wanona Riggs, 24.
No one else was in the car when it crashed.
