CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — Police say a Utah couple was rescued after becoming stranded in the wilderness and spending the night in their car.

The Spectrum of St. George reports that the Cedar City pair was stranded for a day when their vehicle became stuck in the snow near Lund last weekend.

Iron County Sheriff's Office Lt. Del Schlosser says officers got a 911 call from the couple early Monday and were able to find them about 40 minutes alter.

He says the man and woman were in good health and taken back to Cedar City by sheriff's deputies.
