NEW YORK (AP) — New Jersey Devils forward Bobby Farnham has been suspended for four games for an interference penalty in a game against the St. Louis Blues.

The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced the suspension on Wednesday.

Farnham was suspended for his major penalty against Blues forward Dmitrij Jaskin at 11:50 of the third period Tuesday night.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and based on his average annual salary, Farnham will forfeit $12,365.60. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
