RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Terry Allen scored 26 points on 10-of-12 shooting and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds on Wednesday night to help Richmond beat La Salle 83-61.

Marshall Wood was 5 of 8 from 3-point range and ShawnDre' Jones was 4 of 7. Wood finished with 17 points, Jones added 16, and T.J. Cline had 13 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.

Richmond (10-6, 2-2 Atlantic 10) trailed early but took the lead in the middle of the first half with 10 straight points and outscored the Explorers 33-12 over the final 12:19 to lead 40-27 at the break.

It was Allen's 26th game in a row scoring in double digits.

Jordan Price had 19 points to lead La Salle (5-9, 1-3), which cut the deficit no closer than 10 in the second half. Johnnie Shuler and Cleon Roberts added 15 each.
