PITTSBURGH (AP) — Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (RAWTH'-lihs-bur-gur) sat out practice today but is still hopeful he can play in Sunday's division round game at Denver. Backup Landry Jones took most of the snaps with the starters while Roethlisberger underwent treatment on his sprained right shoulder.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A person close to the situation says Detroit defensive coordinator Teryl Austin has an interview with Tennessee tomorrow for the Titans' head coaching job. He's also interviewed for the Giants and Eagles openings. The Titans are looking for their third coach since Jeff Fisher left in January 2011.

CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Browns have hired their eighth coach since they began as an expansion team in 1999. Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson replaces the fired Mike Pettine (PET'-ihn), who was let go after two losing seasons.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Goran Dragic (GOHR'-uhn DRAH'-gitch) of the Miami Heat will miss at least three games with a strained left calf, and has been sent home from the team's road trip. Dragic won't play tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers, Friday in Denver and Sunday in Oklahoma City.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The NCAA has made it easier for college basketball underclassmen to evaluate their NBA draft status without jeopardizing college eligibility. Rule changes that go into effect immediately will allow players to enter the draft multiple times and participate in the combine and one NBA team tryout per year. Players also will be allowed up to 10 days to withdraw from the draft after the combine.
