ISTANBUL (AP) — At least 10 people are dead and 15 are wounded in an explosion in Istanbul.
Istanbul's governor's office says the blast happened today in the city's historic district of Sultanahmet, which is popular with tourists.
The cause of the explosion is being investigated, but State-run TRT television says it was likely caused by a suicide bomber.
Germany is warning its citizens to avoid crowds outside tourist attractions in the city. Germany's Foreign Ministry says on its website that further violent clashes and "terrorist attacks" are expected across Turkey.
