SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Patrick Cole scored a season-high 28 points with seven rebounds, and Dante Holmes added 13 points, including three 3-pointers, to help North Carolina Central beat Savannah State 69-46 on Monday night.
Rashaun Madison had 11 points for N.C. Central (7-11, 2-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).
The Eagles led by as many as 13 in the first half but Savannah State (5-9, 1-2) used an 11-2 run that spanned halftime to tie it 29 with 18 minutes left.
Cole scored 16 points during a 24-6 run over the next 11 minutes, and N.C. Central cruised from there.
Lenjo Kilo scored 14 points, on 7-of-15 shooting, with a season-high 15 rebounds to lead the Tigers, who have lost five of their last six and 9 of their last 11.
Savannah State made just 16 of 58 (27.6 percent) field goal attempts, including 3 of 18 from 3-point range.
