RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — VCU starting guard Jordan Burgess will likely miss "a few weeks" after breaking a finger on his non-shooting hand.

Rams coach Will Wade says he's not certain how much time the do-everything Burgess will miss, but added, "I don't anticipate anything where he'll be back quickly."

Burgess broke the finger late in the Rams' victory at Saint Joseph's on Tuesday night and missed their game Saturday at Saint Louis.

Burgess averages 5.4 points and 4.6 rebounds for the Rams (11-5, 3-0 Atlantic 10), who have won six in a row. But he is fourth on the team, averaging 26.2 minutes because Wade says he does a lot of the things that are invaluable but don't wind up in the box score.
