BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Sabres defenseman Mark Pysyk is rejoining the team after completing a conditioning assignment in the minors.

Pysyk had an assist in three games with the Sabres' American Hockey League affiliate in Rochester, New York. He was sent down last week after recovering from a lower body injury that sidelined him for 22 games.

The Sabres snapped a six-game skid with a 4-2 win at Winnipeg on Sunday. Buffalo closes a three-game road trip at Minnesota on Tuesday.

Goalie Robin Lehner is expected to play one more game in Rochester before completing his conditioning assignment. Lehner has allowed six goals in two games in his first action since spraining his right ankle in Buffalo's season opener against Ottawa on Oct. 8.
