LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say two people have died after a speeding SUV lost control and fell off an overpass near Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas police say the SUV struck a median and rolled off the overpass above Interstate 15.
It fell 27 feet to the ground about 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the two people who died as Rocky Dewayne Dean, 52, of Las Vegas and Belinda Ann West, 58, of North Las Vegas.
Police said Dean was speeding when he lost control of the SUV.
