LISBON, Portugal (AP) — Sporting Lisbon recovered from a two-goal deficit in the first half to defeat Sporting Braga 3-2 and maintain a four-point lead atop the Portuguese league on Sunday.
Wilson Eduardo and Rafa each scored to give Braga the halftime lead, but Sporting rallied with goals by Adrien Silva in the 57th minute, Colombian Fredy Montero in the 76th and striker Islam Slimani in the 90th.
The dramatic home win leaves Sporting with 44 points, four more than Porto, which won 5-0 at Boavista with a pair of second-half goals by Vincent Aboubakar.
Benfica remained third with 37 points after its game against Nacional in the Madeira Islands was suspended early in the first half due to heavy fog.
