Las Vegas man identified as motorcyclist killed in crash

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who died after his bike overturned on a Las Vegas road.

KSNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1OIvvsO) the Clark County coroner's office says 26-year-old Maurice Walker died Saturday of blunt force injuries caused by the accident.

According to police, witness statements and evidence indicate Walker was traveling south on Dean Martin Drive around 12:35 a.m. when the bike overturned onto its left side.

Walker was thrown off and then hit the base of a light pole.

He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation.
