POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Quinton Hooker scored 24 points and Corey Baldwin added 22 as North Dakota beat Idaho State 84-76 Saturday night.

North Dakota (7-8, 2-2 Big Sky) also got 16 points from Carson Shanks. The Fighting Hawks trio combined to shoot 21 for 33 from the field.

Meanwhile, Ethan Telfair scored a career-high 37 points for Idaho State (6-9, 1-2).

Though North Dakota had a comfortable 72-60 lead with 1:31 to play, Telfair scored 16 points in the last 1:15 and made every shot he took.

Telfair hit three 3s, made a layup and was 5 for 5 from the free-throw line. He was fouled on one 3-pointer to complete a 4-point play and finished 12 for 21 from the field, 6 for 8 from 3-point range and 7 for 8 from the free-throw line.
