DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — Jack Gibbs scored 17 of his 26 points in the second half and Davidson beat George Mason 81-75 Saturday night.

Peyton Aldridge's 3-pointer gave the Wildcats (10-4, 2-1 Atlantic 10) a 77-71 lead with 44 seconds left and Gibbs made four free throws to secure the win.

Davidson led by five at the half and then trailed 58-47 after giving up an 18-2 run to George Mason (6-10, 0-3) to start the second. The Wildcats responded with a 13-1 run to get the lead back before the 10-minute mark at 60-59.

Aldridge added 13 points and Brian Sullivan scored 12 for the Wildcats, who were outrebounded 46-29 but made up for it by committing only three turnovers to George Mason's 13.

Jalen Jenkins led George Mason with 20 points and nine rebounds. Marquise Moore added 15 points, Jaire Grayer had 12 and Otis Livingston II scored 11.
