EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) — Shane McLaughlin scored 21 points and Nisre Zouzoua sank the go-ahead bucket to lift Bryant to an 82-79 come-from-behind win in double overtime Saturday.
Bryant (6-11, 3-1 Northeast) took its first lead of the game in the second OT period with Zouzoua's layup, which came during a 6-0 burst that made it 76-72 with 2:22 left. Mount St. Mary's (6-11, 3-1) tightened it back to 76-74 with a pair of free throws from Gregory Graves but Bryant, which had trailed by 14 at halftime, held on.
McLaughlin, who also had 10 rebounds, forced OT with a layup just ahead of the buzzer to tie the game at 60, and Gus Riley forced the second extra period with a pair of free throws.
Zouzoua finished with 15 points, Marcel Pettway 13 and Dan Garvin and Riley 12 each.
Junior Robinson's 20 points led four in double figures for the Mountaineers.
