SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Spencer Collins scored 12 straight points in the final 2 minutes, 12 seconds to pull Wofford out of a 64-55 hole and carry the Terriers to a 69-64 win over Samford for their third straight Southern Conference victory of the season.

Samford (10-6, 1-2) held Wofford (6-9, 3-0) scoreless for more than three minutes while Darius Jones-Gibson and Jamal Shabazz each converted two free throws and Alex Peters hit a jumper to push the Bulldogs' lead to 64-55 before Collins opened his run with the first of two clutch three-pointers.

Collins, with 25 points, was 7 of 11 from the field and knocked down all five of his 3-point attempts. Justin Gordon and Jaylen Allen each added 10 points.

Jones-Gibson finished with 17 points to lead Samford, but missed his final two 3-point attempts in the final two minutes. Christen Cunningham and Shabazz finished with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
