(KSL News) It was a big day today for a lifelong resident of American Fork.
Dean Adams was the grand marshal of today's Steel Days parade.
He says he was real excited to lead today's parade.
Adams is well-known throughout American Fork because he has been bagging groceries at the local Albertsons for the past 17 years.
His mom, Marleene Adams, says today is a big moment for him. She says, "We're all really excited. He's been on pins and needles, asking about it everyday, and it's a great honor for him to be chosen."
Dean received several nominations from the community, because he is always so friendly, which led to him being selected as the grand marshal.
