HOUSTON (AP) — In the first of today's Wild Card playoff games, the Texans are hosting the Chiefs. Kansas City comes into the game riding a 10-game winning streak and a second place finish in the AFC West. The Texans have won seven of their last nine and are champions of the AFC South.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Today's second game features the Bengals hosting the Steelers. This is an all-AFC North contest as they split their two-game season series with the road team winning each contest. The Bengals are champs of the division with a 12-4 record while the Steelers ended the regular season 10-6.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Longtime Syracuse basketball Jim Boeheim (BAY'-hym) is back on the bench this evening. He has completed his nine-game suspension for violations of NCAA rules and will call the shots for the Orange against sixth-ranked North Carolina. Without Boeheim the Orange have dropped three straight conference games for the first time in nearly two decades.

UNDATED (AP) — Following that exciting game Monday night when No. 1 Kansas beat second-ranked Oklahoma in triple overtime, the two schools are back in action today. The Kansas Jayhawks at Texas Tech tonight while the Sooners of Oklahoma are home to Kansas State this afternoon.

KAPALUA, Hawaii (AP) — Third round play in the PGA Tours' Tournament of Champions in Hawaii is on tap today. Reigning Player of the Year Jordan Spieth (SPEETH) starts the day with a four-shot lead over Kevin Kisner, Patrick Reed and Fabian Gomez.
