CHICAGO (AP) — Megan Podkowa had 19 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three blocks and No. 24 DePaul dominated the second half Friday night for a 75-53 win over Georgetown.
Jessica January, Brooke Schulte and Ashton Millender added 11 points each and Chanise Jenkins 10 for the Blue Demons (12-5, 4-0 Big East), who won their fourth straight, ninth straight over the Hoyas. January had 11 rebounds and six assists and Jenkins had seven assists.
Logan Battle had 13 points for the Hoyas (9-6, 2-3), who had won two straight.
DePaul managed to take a 34-33 lead at the half despite missing its last nine shots. Georgetown tied the game at 36 but missed its next 10 shots while the Blue Demons scored 14 straight points. Jenkins started the run with a layup and ended it with two baskets. Schulte had seven points. It was 55-41 after three quarters.
